DO YOU HAVE CLUB PHOTOS ?

Over the years many of you have taken pictures at various Club functions like group trips, the pumpkin carving contests, camping trips, etc. If you have any fun ones available that you can email me I would like to see them. I am just looking for topside photos at this time, like our group shot on the bow of the Star Dancer in Palau. I am trying to find a variety of Club photos showing our group adventures that we can add to the photo gallery on the new website. Thanks. Karen Gagliano

Elaine BlumElaine Blum - Elaine has two causes for celebration. She completed her 300 logged dive in her short 2 year dive career on January 26th And she was recently named "Photographer of the Week" by Rodale's. Her rig is an Olympus 5050Z with a PT-015 housing, an Ikelite DS125 strobe with deluxe arms and a manual controller. Her favorite camera setting is super macro. You are very likely to find her at her favorite beach diving place under the Blue Heron Bridge. When not traveling or under the bridge Elaine prefers to tour the local reefs north of the Boynton inlet with Starfish Dive Charters on Mondays and Fridays. Click here for Elaine Blum's gallery.

Robyn ChurchillRobyn Churchill - I think that most people don't realize how truly amazing the undersea world is, so I take pictures to show them what it's all about.

I'm an SSI Master Diver with 500+ dives to my credit. Shortly after I became a certified diver, I purchased a small Reefmaster camera, and my passion for underwater photography took off. Next, I upgraded to a Sea & Sea MX-10, and I captured some pretty good shots. Presently, I have a Nikonos system, and I've crossed over into the professional realm of photography.

I guess you can say that others like my photos, because in November of 2003, I received first prize in the film division of the Sea & Sea 'It's A Snap' photo contest for my close-up shot of a Green Turtle. In January 2004, I won first place in the graphic arts category at the Broward Shell Show for my photo essay entitled “The Marine Life of Micronesia”. Currently, my close-up shot of a Bearded Fireworm is being featured on the cover of Florida Scuba News magazine in the May 2004 issue. I invite you to visit my gallery by clicking here, and see if you don't agree that the ocean is truly a spellbinding place.
