PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

We are sliding through summer so quickly; it’s hard to believe its August.

We have had a spectacular year with many great club events of all kinds, and have had the opportunity to bring in many new members who just love the fact that we “do so much” and seem to be having such a great time.

Our meeting presentations have been show stoppers, thanks to the great job done by our coordinator, Elaine Jones.

We have almost 70 members, and the most exciting thing is that our meeting attendance is almost 50% of the membership each month. Now THAT is an active dive club! Especially considering the fact that some of our members live outside of South Florida.

It has been so much fun working with a group where everyone not only makes the newcomers at ease the minute they walk through the door, but are also volunteering in so many ways to allow the work of all these events seem effortless.

We’re not done yet, with local diving water temps in the high 80’s plus dive trips to the Bahamas, Caymans, wine tasting, and before you know it, we will be having our underwater pumpkin carving and holiday light cruise.

To those reading this, I can only say “Life is Good, Come Join Us!”
